With 15 years of hands-on maintenance experience, Tom has built a well-rounded career in the field. Starting as a technician, he spent five years honing his technical skills before taking on a supervisory role for seven years. For the past three years, he has excelled as a Maintenance Manager, bringing leadership and expertise to every challenge. Tom holds an EPA Type 1 certification and is a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) through SLAA, equipping him with the technical know-how to maintain high standards in property care. He thrives in his role because of the variety and challenges each day brings and values the collaborative spirit of his team. Outside of work, Tom enjoys fishing and playing darts. He’s also a proud dad to his two sons, Gianni and Nico, who inspire him daily.

Nicole joined the Storyboard team in July 2024 as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. With over four years of experience in site property management, Nicole brings a love and understanding of our extended community. She is passionate about forging meaningful connections with residents and understanding their individual needs. When not at work, Nicole is a devoted mother of three and an outdoor enthusiast. She and her partner are currently making their way through all the National Parks.

Jarrett Muenks joined Storyboard in 2024 as the Maintenance Supervisor for our Hilltop property. With exceptional customer service skills and a resourceful approach to problem-solving, Jarrett ensures that residents’ townhomes are well-maintained and in top condition. In his free time, he enjoys renovating properties, working on cars, and building various projects.

Molly joined Storyboard in June of 2024 as the Community Manager at Storyboard at SIU. She has been in the student housing world in Carbondale for the last 4 years. Molly is passionate about making sure that all students and parents feel welcomed and have the best experience at Storyboard at SIU. Outside of work, Molly enjoys being a choreographer for local community theater organizations and spending time with her family and dogs.

With over three years of experience in property management and as a licensed real estate agent in Missouri, Kyla Hodge brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role. She currently oversees operations at the Hilltop location, managing all aspects of leasing, property maintenance, and ensuring the community is well-maintained and thriving. Kyla is passionate about creating a positive living experience for residents and takes pride in maintaining high standards for property management. When she’s not at work, Kyla enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters, exploring new destinations, and diving into true crime shows and podcasts. Her enthusiasm for connecting with people and her strong work ethic make her an invaluable member of the team.

Jessica joined Storyboard Living in 2024, bringing extensive property management experience and innovative strategies to enhance community living. She plays a key role in leasing, community inspections, and move-in preparations, ensuring a seamless experience for both new and current residents. A dedicated mother, Jessica finds joy in watching her son excel in sports. In the summer, she loves spending weekends by the lake or relaxing poolside, soaking up the sun.

Edward joined the Storyboard Living team in June 2024 but has been with Storyboard at SIU since summer of 2022. He started his journey with the company as a Community Assistant and was promoted to a Leasing Agent this year. One of his favorite part of the job is meeting and interacting with residents every day. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his dog, playing golf, and watching baseball.

Cindy has been a Leasing Specialist at Storyboard since the middle of 2023. Armed with a strong background in customer service and communication, embarked on her career with a clear mission: To ensure the well-being and satisfaction of residents in our communities. Despite her demanding professional life, Cindy is a hands-on mom who tries her best to be present in her children’s lives. During her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her little ones.

Eve joined Storyboard in July 2024 as a Leasing Specialist. In her day-to-day, she manages customer inquiries, resolves concerns, and delivers exceptional service. She has honed her ability to understand and cater to the diverse needs of residents, ensuring satisfaction and fostering strong relationships. Outside of work, she is a dedicated mom, passionately involved in every moment of her daughter’s life. She also enjoys traveling to cozy, nature-rich destinations that highlight the beauty of the natural world.

Erik Caraig is our Self Storage Customer Liaison at Storyboard since 2021. He ensures that our customers have a safe environment and stay up-to-date with the status of their storage units. Erik values work-life balance and enjoys the opportunities provided by Storyboard. He is always available for you storage concerns and puts a lot of effort into ensuring you are taken care of daily. Outside of work, Erik loves vacationing in the mountains or on a beach with his partner.
